Comment by Rurik-Rory Nackerud on March 27, 2012 at 6:02pm I wish I could be in Seattle! I will be down at ISTE but I had to make some tough choices this year. Glad to hear news out of Seattle!
Comment by Hilary Goldmann on March 19, 2012 at 2:05pm Betsy: Thanks for the update from NCCE. I heard we have more than 200 new ETAN members as a result of the conference, fabulous work! I returned from CUE conference this week and ASTE conference in February and they also had strong turnouts.
Great NCCE conference in Seattle! Educators from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and other stated signed on to have their voices heard with the help of ETAN!
Comment by Pam Shoemaker on March 10, 2012 at 9:58am Over 100 people used the ETAN website to send letters to legislators about the need to fund educational technology at the 2012 MACUL Conference. Together we will make our message be heard loud and clear!
Comment by Ric Wiltse on June 29, 2011 at 11:04am Probably not what you are seeking, Chris, but this is from our strategic plan:
Goal:
Increase MACUL's influence, through advocacy, to promote educational technology.
Objectives:
• Establish a process for identifying issues on which to focus our advocacy efforts
• Reach out to people with influence
• Increase MACUL members' awareness in advocacy

I'm wondering if Affiliate members would be willing to share their position statements. I am working with a group within AzTEA to develop ours and would love to have some models. (cgj@u.arizona.edu).
