For NMSTE members from our partner New England- ISTE affiliate,
Thanks to the generous support of Flip Video(TM), Digital Wish(TM) is proud to offer the ideal tool for integrating video into your classroom. For just $150*, you can get TWO Flip Ultra camcorders for your classroom.

So what's the catch? Actually, there is no catch. No application. No drawing. No waiting game. Just log in to www.digitalwish.org and click on the 2 for 1 banner or use the link below to access the product page. You can either purchase it directly or add it to your wish list, and tell everyone you know about how they can help make a difference in your classroom.

We at Flip Video and Digital Wish are committed to helping teachers bring video into the classroom and share the great work that happens there.

Check it out: http://www.digitalwish.com/dw/digitalwish/product?id=4310

All the best,

The Digital Wish Team

Dear Jeanne Biddle,
I am the Vermont board member for New England-ISTE. Digital Wish just launched an initiative that will be of high interest to all the ISTE affiliates, and I wanted to make sure ISTE had adequate opportunity to circulate this. We've just launched a 50% grant on Flip Camcorders for K-12 educators, nationwide. It's going to hit the press later next week. You are welcome to invite the affiliates to circulate the email below.

Feel free to call me with questions.
All the best,
Heather Chirtea

Jill, What about asking Jami Grindatto (INTEL) and Brian O. (NMLN and Innovate-Educate NM) to partner to sponsor the joint reception on Monday evening? Jamai Blivin () Executive Director of Innovate-Educate might be able hook you up with funding for this event!

I will be there on the 30th. This is my first time to NECC so I am probably not the best person when it comes to ideas :-( but would love to hear from others in this group.

I'll be there. We are going to share an affiliate table with AzTEA and are talking about partnering with them for a reception on Monday night. We need to find a sponsor so that we can do that. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I am wondering what the NMSTE is planning for 2009. I am excited to be headed to NECC in June. Is anyone else going?

L&L, ISTE's flagship magazine, now has a group on the ISTE Community Ning. We want to hear what you think about current ed tech topics. Chime in at www.iste.org/landl or just click on the L&L icon. Today's topic is Wikipedia: Friend or Foe.

I would suggest you go on some Global educator sites, Lucy Gray has one which I suddenly can't remember. If you Google Lucy it will come up.

Hi Marty, I've done this before but do not have a current one to share. However, there are really only about 3-4 major players (Cisco, Avaya, maybe a couple of others) and one of the things we did in the past was to have the vendors agree to do an…
