Jennifer,

How are you? I just joined this great blog approach to ISTE, and I'll be attending the ISTE Conference in Denver ... hope to see you there. If you have a chance, please read my blog post re: "Transcendence of the Classroom and System to Empower the Student Population" ... just a few examples of how I approach my students in the classroom to create greater meaning for them and me.

Yes tools like that and OneNote are quite useful for tracking and organizing sites, as well as a place to take notes.

I also "re-discovered" the Reference features in MS Word which track and build a bibliography.

But with my initial inquiry, I was thinking more about whether a graphical organizer perhaps as a student handout that would guide them to gather the right information about a site when doing research, and thus, collecting key site info to help in the process of verifying the site's reliability.

Hi Jennifer,
I've had two friend requests on here for people who have no profile and a suspiciously "model" looking photo. Do you know who Sienna Bennet is? Thanks! :)

Hi Jennifer - sorry that my first comment is one of Ning logistics - but we seem to have many a false profile on this Ning community that probably should be blocked: One is obvious, Joy, after making dozens of comments on community profiles this morning. http://www.iste-community.org/profile/joy600

The Scavenger Hunt at NECC was awesome and definitely showed a creative use for using cell phones in the classroom.

New profile questions: Twitter name and an extra web address field!

By popular request, I just updated the profile questions for the Ning to include Twitter name and an additional field for blogs, social media profiles, etc.

If you've already completed your profile questions, be sure to update it. (Update your profile by visiting "My Page" and then clicking the edit button on "Profile Information.")

What else should we include here?
