I was happy to see you and what your students were doing with machinima. I find it interesting and more than justifying that we have so many different things going on with students from different backgrounds. Second Life is such a rich environment that it supports any content area. What we need to get some people to understand is that it correlates directly to the book. Books can contain anything and so can SL. It's just a deeper container with the added dimension. It doesn't replace every book (like novels), but I believe it has the potential to replace text books.
