- I have been teaching for 20 years computer science and business education. I teach MS office suite, programming (LOGO-Microworlds/Scratch), keyboarding (MicroType-SWEP), web design (FLASH), and entrepreneurship (Virtual Business-Knowledge Matters). I also have a unit I created on the stock market.
I currently use video tutorials that I have created (Camtasia Studio) to help my students learn more complex tasks. I presented on this topic at NECC in San Antonio. I have a new presentation proposal that I and a colleague will present at NECC 2009 in Washington D.C. It will cover brain based learning as it related to my stock market unit I teach to my 8th grade students so stay tuned.
