Hey, all,

It's 200+ Mb so I can't add it here, but I did put it up on YouTube and post it to my own blog, scottmerrickdotnet. Exemplary K-4 Technology Program Schools? Anyone?

Hey, everybody,

I've just been granted a modest amount of money via a Malone Schools Quaker Hill grant to travel and observe several exemplary K-4 technology programs in practice, toward redesigning the program at my school for the best results in our students' learning.

That requires, of course, that I target suggested programs first. It also assumes that there are such schools...

Do you know of a school ANYWHERE that

SIGVE Speaker Sessions on ISTE Island

Hey, all. Just to not that if you weren't one of the more than 70 individuals who took in last Tuesday's (Feb. 16th's) ISTE SIGVE Speaker Session featuring Kyle and Robin Gomboy of ReactionGrid, you can catch and download the audio at the SIGVE wiki. See this page for that, as well as for some nifty pics, the number of which should continue to grow as we add pics to Flickr and tag them ISTESIGVESpeakerSession.

Early Welcome to the Second Life Playground

Hey all, just wanted to say hi and hope to see you at NECC09, where there will be myriad opportunities to network with other educators of like mind. Like, my own mind is very geared toward teaching and learning in Second Life, and with the capable co-facilitation of our own Lisa Lynn (SL Clare Lane), we'll be offering activities in the Second Life Playground on the first floor of the conference center running from Monday at 8 a.m. through Wednesday at 2 p.m. It'll be a hoot!

I'll share out more… Continue

I am happy to be involved. I am doing the Global Kids Building Capacity workshop for the next 4 weeks. I will be exploring Reaction Grid as a part of my work for the Edge Project.
So this is perfect timing.
I will be around during ISTE and I will try to be in-world whenever I can.
You are doing a fantastic job with this community! Good luck next week.
