Best MassCue conference I have ever attended. You have really raised the bar. Loved the venue at Patriots place. Workshops I attended were very well done! Looking forward to the Technology Leadership conference in March!

MassCUE Conference - Foxborough, Massachusetts

MassCUE scored big points with its conference this year! Facing problems with capacity and connectivity at their previous hotel venue, MassCUE leaders decided to get a new playbook. The result: a big win – in more ways than one!

Affiliate Conferences - On The Road: AETA (Alabama)

Conference season has begun! Well, it's practically year round, but in the ISTE world, it jumped into full gear just a few weeks ago. I am lucky enough to get to visit a number of our Affiliates' conferences this year and am glad to share with you what I discover. First up: the Alabama Educational Technology Association conference, held in beautiful Perdido Beach, Alabama, the last few days of September.… Continue

Does anyone use Jing?

Yet one more groovy tool I discovered along the way somewhere but haven't used it yet.

Jing captures screen images and/or records video of what you see or do on your screen. Great for making demos, tutorials, etc. Also has a good share feature built in so you can send files/videos to others. Free too - even better.

I'm just wondering if anyone has used it, and if so, any comments?

Do students need to memorize facts in the digital age? Absolutely! But, I believe the question is a bit misleading. To even ask the question is to misinterpret the focus of education. Suppose we step into the middle of the 21st century and humans...
