I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs in the College of Education at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. I teach courses in special education including: EDSP 323 Exceptional Student in the Secondary School, EDSP 844 Special Education in Secondary Schools, EDSP 778 Technology for Special Education, and EDSP 886 Seminar: Research in Special Education. In addition I supervise graduate practicum students in special education and serve on a number of university, college, and department committees. My research focuses on using technology in the instructional design of professional development, both pre-service and in-service teacher education coursework, and practicum experiences, as well as K-12 technology applications for students with exceptionalities.
