The Washington Education Technology Policy Summit is a must attend conference for all education technology advocates. Keynote speaker Carl Cannon, a leading political journalist from the National Journal and Readers Digest will kick-off the conference by sharing "inside the beltway" insights on the new Administration and the new Congress, and how best to position the education technology community in today's political environment. We will also meet directly with officials from the Obama Administration and key congrssional staff.
On May 1, participants will "go to the hill" to "Make Your Voice Heard" by sharing YOUR insights and success stories with your congressional delegation. We will schedule these meetings for you and prepare you with talking points to ensure their success. This is an ideal time to be in DC to begin networking with the new congress and Administion and to influence the FY 10 appropriations cycle.
The Washington Education Technology Policy Summit is hosted by ISTE and the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). You do not need to be a member of ISTE or CoSN to attend. Make your hotel reservation now as we cannot guarantee the reduced conference rate after April 8.
