The U.S. Department of Education plans to post the state applications for the State Stabilization Fund on Tuesday, March 31. In addition, the Dept. will post a State Stabilization Fund FAQ web-page on Tuesday, that will be comprised of questions that have been submitted so far from schools, districts and states across the country. Additionally, Title I and IDEA funds will likely flow to the states next week too and a FAQ will be posted for these programs too.

ISTE's April 2, webinar, "So the Stimulus Passed... Now What?" will be very timely.

"Excited about the possibilities the stimulus package brings, but not really sure what it means for you? ISTE presents a panel of policy experts to discuss the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and how these dollars can be used for classroom technology purchases and professional development initiatives. You will leave this webinar with an understanding of the K–12 education components of the stimulus package, how and when money will flow, and how you can leverage these dollars quickly thereby benefiting long-term student achievement through school innovation and reform. You will also learn about the many ways you can get involved in ISTE's advocacy activities to strengthen our collective voice. This is a free webinar for ISTE members.
