The Department of Education published the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Timing Spreadsheet -- http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/leg/recovery/funds/timing.pdf. This spreadsheet indicates that 50 percent of the EETT funds will be disbursed in June/July and the second half in September/October. We don't know if this means that the June/July disbursement will be either all formula or all competitive or if each half will be divided in half at the state level and states will have to disburse formula and competitive grants at both of those times.

This document contradicts the earlier guidelines that stated all of the EETT funds would be disbursed in the Fall 2009.

Mark, you are correct, the timing page has been moved. I'm not sure where it is now, but will try to get an answer for you. The state distribution pages are still up, check out:

Good morning, It looks like the timing page has been removed. Hilary, have you seen a breakdown per state for the EETT stimulus funding? I am from a large district in Florida and we are looking at huge cuts across the board. This funding may help sustain basic technology programs in my district. as always, thanks for your support!
